Do you like chocolate desserts? Better yet, do you like chocolate candy in your desserts? One of my favorite things to do with
McIntyres Candies is to use it in one of my dessert recipes. I like to chop up Amaretto bark or
Bavarian orange bark into cookies. Our
McIntyre Meltaway cups are to die for chopped up in peanut butter cookies. But my all time favorite is to use our
Famous Cashew Butter Brittle in a decadent rich dessert called Brownie Trifle. Every time I serve this my guests always ask for seconds. I make it in a clear salad bowl and the layers look so picture pretty. Here is the recipe if you would like to try it your self.
Brownie Trifle with Mcintyres Candies Famous Cashew Butter Brittle Or as I am renaming it: BRITTLE TRIFLE
1 - Box Fudge Brownie mix
1 - Large box of instant chocolate pudding.
12 oz - Cashew Butter Brittle Milk chocolate or Dark if you prefer it. (I always buy 16oz so I can eat the leftovers.)
1 – 12oz tub of Cool Whip
Bake the brownies in a 13x9 inch pan.
Cool.
Divide in half and crumble in pieces.
Make Pudding.
In a clear bowl: Layer: ½ the Brownie, ½ the Pudding, ½ the Cool Whip, and ½ the Cashew Butter Brittle Broken into pieces.
Repeat Layers and refrigerate until ready to serve. You and your guests will be in for a real treat!
