This is it, Saturday, November 12, 2011, McIntyre’s Candies posts its first blog entry.

To think, a little less than seven years ago we brought the first computer to McIntyre’s Candies; now we are “blogging.” We intend our blog to give you insight into the artisan chocolate confection business, give you a sense of who McIntyre’s Candies is to our customers, and allow you to see how we participate in our local and e-communities.

So, enter the craziness of “Christmas in the candy business” with us and learn about how we “Make It McIntyre’s” for our customers. To start, check-out the video clip on YouTube as Eileen and Jess “Bang the Brittle.” Cashew butter brittle is a caramelized, cashew-butter toffee that is our longest-running candy, still made how Kermit and Thelma McIntyre first made it in 1948.
